Okay, you see it all, so we don't have to talk that much about it, right? I admit, I'm being a bit short lately--sorry, but this writing of stuff isn't paying the bills and I have other things to write (no offense to anyone!). So let's get into it.
Pathfinders
Man, you got hit with the nerf stick hard. I'm sorry. It must suck to go from the best team ever to... still a pretty good team? I don't know. Killing the chain activation was necessary and nerfing the Grenadier was pretty much unsurprising (the guy had more points in grenades than any other team could carry period). I get wanting them strong, but man, they were just.. STRONGK.Death Guard
Slow boys, rejoice! You get more piddly boys to put into your kill teams. Out of curiosity right now, who is going to take Poxwalkers ever again over 3 Death Guard? You? Me? Who is that crazy person with their pants on their head doing it? I want to meet them!Space Marines (And Grey Knights, too!)
So GHD got part of his wish with them all getting another model. Frankly, I'm not a huge fan (it means things get more expensive, for one) and it also means that they got a LOT better. This is going to bump Spezz Muhreenz from D tier to maybe a solid C tier? We will see. I know that there's going to be a lot more Deathwatch because, well, even I am looking into maybe making a Deathwatch Kill Team now. Anyone got the hookup for some minis I can paint black?
Aeldari
I'm glad that GW is on the MAGA train here (note: I'm not talking about any US politician. Make Aeldari Great Again). I'm not going to wear a red hat or anything, but adding two Operatives to these guys takes them from rubbish to probably pretty good. I still don't think Rangers are that awesome (let's be honest, 5-10 Heavy weapons is basically playing into your opponent's hands), but 10 Dire Avengers? That might be fun.
But anyway, that's all I've got. Go away now.
